National AIS Server

The National AIS server was developed by Astra Paging Ltd. under contract with the Bulgarian Maritime Administration. The server provides the necessary features for integration of the Bulgarian VTMIS (Vessel Traffic Management and Information System) and the European SafeSeaNet ship traffic monitoring system. In mid-2007, the National AIS server was also integrated into the Mediterranean AIS network.

VTS Database

DATA PROCESSING, PLANNING AND ANALYSIS OF VESSEL TRAFFIC IN THE BULGARIAN VTS ZONES” INFORMATION SYSTEM. he “Data processing, planning and analysis of vessel traffic in the Bulgarian VTS zones” information system (VTS database) was developed for the “Ports Infrastructure” Company. The system is a key module of the national Vessel Traffic Management and Information System (VTMIS).

Network Monitoring System

The System for Network Monitoring (SNM) ensures continuous background monitoring of the operational status of the VTMIS subsystems. SNM monitors the numerous parameters of the VTMIS network: network equipment, power equipment, as well as the health and integrity of the system servers. It uses polling techniques for data collection.

VTOPIS

Astra Paging Ltd. developed the Vessel Traffic Oil Pollution Information System in 2006. This pilot project was implemented for the United Nations Office for Project Services (Contract No 00039160 RER/01/G33) and GEF (Global Ecological Fund) and World Bank. After its completion, the project was introduced to the Bulgarian Maritime Administration.

Port Information Services

The system has been developed by Astra Paging Ltd in 2009 under contract with Ports Infrastructure Co.

Improving of document management and electronic authorization of “Pratique” and “Sailing Permission”
Reducing time of document processing.

Our system processes over 100 million AIS ship reports received from more than 65000 vessels. VT Explorer is a service of Astra Paging, Ltd., a software development company established in 1997.
